The “super admin” is any user granted full administrator permissions over all users in the LMS. Super admins have full access to all system features and can perform all administrative tasks. See Admin >> Manage User Permissions for more information.
Super Admin Tasks
All tasks included in “standard learner” and “group admin”, with no restriction on user accessibility
Additional user management permissions with no restriction on user account accessibility
- Assign users as group administrators
- Create group
Group management permissions with accessibility limited to constituent user accounts
- Modify group details
- Enroll group members in courses
- Remove group members from courses
- Add new groups
Catalog management permissions
- Modify course catalog including layout, titles, descriptions, and restrictions
- Access all restricted catalogs and courses
Course management permissions
- Add, update, and delete courses
- Add and delete course materials
- View enrollees
- Create and assign coupon/discount codes
Lesson management permissions
- Upload, replace, and delete lesson content
- Preview/debug lessons
ILT session management permissions
- Add, modify, and delete sessions
- Manage session rosters
Certificate management permissions
- Add, modify, and delete certificates
