Group Administrators can be easily created and updated in the Tortal LMS using the Permissions Management Tools. This creates an environment that gives the group Administrator permission to view, edit, assign and Report on the Users within their assigned Groups.
Group Management Assignment can be done easily, by 1 of 2 methods.
How to Assign Groups to your Group Administrators.
1. Using the Permissions Management Wizard
- Locate the Set Permissions for Users wizard
- Select your User to edit
- Ensure the User is given their appropriate "by Group" Permissions
- ByGroup Permissions are only effective on Assigned Groups.
- ByGroup Permissions are only effective on Assigned Groups.
- Assign the Groups this User is to Manage
- Select the Groups from the Left column 1. and move the to the Right column (2) to assign them to a User for Management.
- Save your changes
2. Using the Assign Group Administrator Wizard
- Locate the Assign Group Administrator Wizard
- Admin >> Groups >> Assign Group Administrator
- Select the Group you wish to Assign an Admin for
- Select your Group to assign and admin for and click next
- Edit the List of Admins for this Group
- You may choose Users from the Available pool (1) and Add or remove them from the Group List (2)
- Save your changes
